Membership Categories VNMAP offer four different options for you to join us. You should read them carefully and select the one that most applicable for your situation.
Responsibility of the members VNMAP expects our members to strongly bind to our "Values, Beliefs and Expectation" and follow the professional code of conduct. Apply to VNMAP Application to become a member of VNMAP can be submit anytime in the year. We only accept online application. A VNMAP representative will contact you via email after we receive your application. Please allow us 1 week to review and respond to you on your application.
Benefits VNMAP Scholarship VNMAP offers $500.00 to three students each year who demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism, dedication to their academics and a desire to develop leadership.
VNMAP Travel Grant VNMAP offers $300.00 to VNMAP members in need of financial aid for any academic or professional-related events. This grant requires a declaration by the applicant regarding a specific event they deem valuable to their professional development. This grant serves to help relieve the travel expenses that comes along with the event, which the applicant desires to partake in.
Professional/Career Development Advisory Our organization is comprised of students and professionals with extensive knowledge regarding career development in a variety of fields. Their level of expertise is established in large part, through their own experiences of exploring different careers as well as applying for a variety of jobs and grad schools.
VNMAP offers consultations on the following School selection, from college to graduate/professional schools Job selections particularly in the health care field Application processes for both schools and jobs Conduction of mock interviews Providing network opportunities with different professionals. One-on-one advising and tutoring regarding specific fields Additionally, we will have quarterly seminars or webinars on various topics regarding professional development and leadership to support our members.
Financial Advising VNMAP is honored to have Ms. Angie Trandai as a supporter of our organization. She is a professional financial advisor and would like to offer our members free financial advising sessions.
